About Us

Portlaoise golf club is located at the edge of Portlaoise town on the Abbeyleix Road. The lush green, 18 hole parkland course is set among over two thousand trees and water features, making it a delightful golfing experience, which will test even the very best.

Scenically situated on the site of the original Maryborough Golf Club, the course is steeped in history dating as far back as the 1800s. It features some of the best holes in the Midlands, which are playable all year round. 

Our club was born out of a passion to provide golfers of all abilities with a course that combines traditional design with a distinctly Irish blend.
